Darwin Glass (also known as Darwinite) is a natural glass tektite found south of Queenstown in Tasmania. Darwin Glass formed approximately 800,000 years ago due to a meteor impact that formed the now known ‘Darwin Crater’. This tektite is the most prolific tektite in the world in relation to the size of the impact site. Darwin Glass ranges in colouration from white, to a dark ‘mucky’ green. It is currently illegal to collect Darwin Glass but it is still possible to locate ‘old stock’ material that has yet to end up in a private collection. While you may not be able to collect pieces yourself, you can visit the crater and experience the abundance of energy that the area has to offer.
Darwin Glass is an unusual energy to hold; when first working with this crystal it can be quite a ‘groggy’ energy, weighing you down and can almost make you feel a bit ill. This feeling is the crystal bringing up any negativity, attachments, or the likes to the surface, so it can be cleared so that you may begin to progress. During this process, keep yourself hydrated and make sure to rest plenty. Once you’ve been completely cleared within, the feelings of illness will pass and make way for quite a gentle, ‘airy’ energy which produces an interesting feeling throughout as the Darwin Glass works to keep you grounded while helping to lift your inner vibration and connect your energy across the dimensions. At this point, you can bring in other crystals to help you, from this point you’ll be working on yourself across all the realms of existence, all the dimensions that we can access. The changes within yourself will be inspirational, and life changing. When you’re done, make sure to carry around a grounding crystal you have a strong connection with, helping to cement your feet back on the ground. You’ll find it quicker to access this plane in future as the initial use is clearing up years of attachments and negative energy across all dimensions.
