Clear Quartz is known as the ‘Master Crystal’, it is such a versatile crystal, taking your intentions and amplifying that energy. Clear Quartz is a form of Silicon Dioxide and can form in a variety of ways, including masses, clusters, and hexagonal crystals, this doesn’t include the countless ‘variations’ that the terminations can have, making it one of the most diverse minerals from this planet. Quartz was first described in 77AD and named ‘Crystallus’ it wasn’t until 1505 it was renamed Quartz from the Saxon word “Cross-vein ore”, likely describing how it is often found as veins within other minerals.

As mentioned above, Clear Quartz is often known as the ‘Master Crystal’ this is because how versatile Clear Quartz can be and how it adapts to each situation. This mineral as such doesn’t have it’s own properties, but takes the energy that is sent into it, either through intention or from other sources (minerals, healing techniques, etc.) and turns them into it’s own at an amplified level. You can either place Clear Quartz within a grid to allow it to amplify the energy of the other nearby crystals, or sit and meditate with it, setting your own intention.

Clear Quartz, on it’s own, is excellent for working with the Crown Chakra, helping to bring in clarity of thought and allowing you to excel in any subject you may choose.
